Before starting the bulk of my project work I was charged with designing the posters for my dads 50th birthday, I chose to theme it around the musicians of my parents era adding a touch of 1980's punk-zine vibe. The drawings that make up the central illustration were all drawn using a stick dipped in ink. I found the whole thing a valuable experience not only because it helped me to develop a new style for drawing portrait but because of having to work so quickly ( It took about 2 days).
